The Cottage
The Cottage at Cousens Farm is ideal for families or couples who like more space. Sleeps up to 4 people in 2 king sized double bedrooms. One can be configured as either a double or a twin. Charming and characteful it features a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge with woodburning stove and its own private outside space with a hot tub.
The Loft
Secluded and self contained with a beach / surf chic vibe. The Loft features a large, spacious studio style king sized bedroom and lounge with a big corner sofa. There is a separate galley kitchen on the ground floor. Outside is a private terrace with hot tub offering valley views.
Between Salcombe & Dartmouth
Cousens Farm is situated in Dunstone, a tiny hamlet on the edge of a gentle valley and just a couple of miles from Beesands, a large beach at the end of a lane, with fishing boats pulled up on the shore and The Cricket Inn close enough that you can smell lunch from the waterline.
For Salcombe, skip the drive into town and the summer parking scramble. Head to East Portlemouth instead — about 15 minutes away — leave the car, and take the short pedestrian ferry across the estuary. It drops you into the heart of Salcombe, costs next to nothing, and is one of those small moments that makes a holiday feel like a holiday.
Rainy day? No problem, play pool, work out in the gym or take a long lunch in one of the excellent local pubs!
